| Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Gondola |
It also got me confused in the beginning, but the "Gondola" in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol is a skylift cable car system with thirty-seven cars, no different from that of the Sugarloaf ("Pao de Azucar") in Rio de Janeiro (wow, flashbacks!!!). It is built along the shore of Jakarta's bay and offers a spectacular view of the resort and the sea as well as the city.
The Gondola actually goes past the roof of our cottage at the resort. |
