A Day at the SM Science Discovery Center
It turned out to be one of those days when Julian would beam from ear to ear. Thank God for Henry Sy's Mall of Asia! Tee hee hee. The perfect reward for a good little trooper like my baby.

I mean, he did deserve the treat no matter how exorbitant the entrance fee was. (A trip to the Planetarium at the Luneta would have produced as much gasps from Julian but who cares, my darling was ecstatic!).

Just loved these robot replicas from TV shows from my youth. Julian thought they looked "corny". And what would you expect with one who grew up with Terminator-type killer machines??? To him, this looked like a teddy bear robot! Hahaha!

Yup...though he knew pretty little about the "Robot Wars", the Terminator, well this one he definitely was not alien to..

Oh yes, the coup d' grace, Astro, Astro Astro Boy!!!

Our robo-sensibilities piqued, we joined the sampler course on Introduction to Robotics. Sure its cool but it would drain Mommy's pocket sweetie so....sorry!

Manood ka na lang, anak.

These "classics" however, R2D2 and what appears to be Spiderman on steroids, were among Julian's favorites.

...just as flight simulator rides like these. Tee hee hee. Now, ask Julian what he'd like to be when he grows up and he'd be quick to say, "PILOT!!!".

...and making new friends (to wallop) as they were all chroma-ed against a blue screen in a game of virtual soccer and virtual volleyball.

He liked the virtual chuva so much he queued up for another round before moving to..

...the other ho-hum stuff like big aquariums and marine life for viewing. La dee dah. Been there done that.

And then the super hyped planetarium part of the tour. So ok, the concave screen dome was new, I grant them that. You did get a feeling like you yourself were in some space module floating out in space but my God my aching neck and throbbing head (she says as she grapples to search for an Advil in her magic mommy purse...)

Now wasn't that a perfect prelude to the "bangag" shot here? Bwahaha!

YMCA!!! Told Julian if he worked out in these mini-gym structures by the Bay, he'd be reduced to a reed. "Blaaaaaaaaaah, Mommy!!!", he went.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, takip-silim sa Mall of Asia!
