Joaquin's 7th Birthday:TimeZone & Little Asia

August 18. Not even overcast skies and a week of cancelled classes and flashfloods in Manila would stop us (nor other families for that matter) from a weekend in town.

We killed an hour or two at Timezone where the kids' fun drained their parents' pockets...

...and tested the patience of the senior citizens who had no choice but bear Timezone's blaring arcade sounds...

One final group shot before our next stop...

After Timezone the entire barangay of extended families and video-crazed kids crossed the streets to the Promenade in Greenhills for dinner at Little Asia.

Yup, everyone's growing up fast --- including the kambal (I'm not too sure if this is OJ or BJ). Here's one of the gentle giants with Papa

...so, whether or not this is OJ or BJ now, fact is, he's going to be a Daddy himself soon and imagine how that would add more little mouths to feed should the family go to another restaurant for a birthday celebration. Practicing on mom-to-be's cute little niece. Is it me, or does this beauty look a bit like Pocahontas? Bwahaha! (Hey that was meant to be a compliment)...

The kids made the resto staff a bit nervous, I think. They began to play tag after Joaquin blew the candles in his cake

While everyone goes back to doting on Andrew...

Mica couldn't really care less...the food at Little Asia was yummy from start to finish.

Anton and Julian were also busy putting together their helicopter prizes from Timezone.

Joaquin himself seemed pretty content.

It was one of those real good picture perfect family days.

Soooo Birthday Pinoy. Eating out with an entire barangay of extended family members with yayas-in-tow, and dining as if this would be their last supper! As if that wasn't enough, doggie bags of take home! Yum!
